We did the hike on the weekend of 13 Mar 2020. It was well maintained and marked. Effort to maintain the trail was evident, despite the recent rains that resulted in everything growing crazily. Plenty of game to view. The facilities are great, with comfortable beds and fully stocked accomodation.
I definitely recommend this hike, especially for beginner hikers.
